General Information

Registration for the 2012/2013 season will open on March 1st, 2012. All current players will be emailed an Invitation to Re-Register.

2011/2012 Season

Registration is OPEN:    For all Age Groups

Most age groups are FULL. Please email info@nvfc.ca stating the date of birth of the players to see if we have space available.

Registration Deadlines:

Registration will remain OPEN past the June 1 deadline for those age groups that have space available.

To Register:  Please read the important information for New or Returning Players below, then proceed to the Registration Portal.

Registration Status: Player registration is NOT 'complete' until we have received your payment (see fees below) and any required Proof of Age.
You will be notified by email when the player has been placed onto a team.

Waitlist: If your age group is full, you will automatically be placed onto a waiting list and no payment will be processed. We will contact you as soon as we are able to place the player on a team.Waitlists are processed on a first come first serve basis. We often place most of our players on the waitlist due to cancellations so do not be disappointed - register NOW!

Proof of Age is mandatory for all of the following players:

  • ALL players entering U11
  • U12 players that did not play on the U11 Streamed teams
  • NEW players entering U11-U18


Proof of age must be submitted as soon as you have completed your online registration
. No orginals please!
You can send us a copy by email or fax. You will not be assigned to a team until we receive a copy of your proof of age.

Acceptable ID for Proof of Age:

  • a photocopy of the player's birth certificate, passport, or immigration papers

             Note: Medical cards are not acceptable.

Fees - (All Age Groups)

Registration fees have increased this season to cover anticipated cost increases in fields, gyms and Criminal Record Check.

  • $235.00 per player (all age groups)
  • Registration fees are pro-rated from November 1st to registration close date.
  • Third child in a family registered with NVFC is FREE
  • Pay by Credit Card (Visa or MC) or Cheque. Please indicate players full name on cheque.
  • Payments made by credit card will show "North Vancouver Football Club" in the Details/Description column of their Visa/Mastercard statement
  • Cheques MUST be received within 14 days of registration. If this is not possible please contact the club administrator at info@nvfc.ca. If we do not receive your cheque and you have not contacted us to let us know of a delay, the player will be moved to an Unassigned team and lose his poistion on his team.  Once payment has been recevied, he will be placed based on availability.

Select Premium

  • Players who have been placed onto one of our Select Teams will be assessed a fee to cover the additional costs associated with Select Teams.
  • U11-U16 - $75.00 per player
  • U17-U18 - $50.00 per player
  • Payment of these fees MUST be made when you accept a position on a Select team.
  • You will receive instructions by email regarding when & how to accept your position, and how to make your payment.
  • Select Premium Fees are NOT refundable.

Refund Policy

  • Refund requests are accepted until October 31 and are subject to a pro-rated administrative fee.
  • All registration refund requests must be made in writing to the club registrar .
  • No registration fee refunds will be issued because of game cancellations. (due to field closures)
  • The Select team surcharge is non-refundable.
  • Registration fee refund requests due to injuries or illness must be accompanied by a doctor’s note.
  • No refunds will be issued because of game cancellations due to field closures.
  • No registration fee refunds will be made after October 31st.
  • Refunds requested up to Aug. 31st: $25.00 admin fee charged
  • Refunds requested from Sept.1 - Sept 30th: $35.00 admin fee charged
  • Refunds requested from Oct. 1 - Oct 31st: $45.00 admin fee charged
  • MSL will be running under the NSPPP's applicable rules & procedures so .MSL registration fees are non-refundable once you accept your position on a team.

Returning Player Information

All returning players will be emailed a User Name and Password to use for their registration. If you did not receive this email, use the FORGOT YOUR USER NAME OR PASSWORD? instructions at the top of this page to have it emailed to you. Please DO NOT register as a New User as it will return an error message saying you already exist.

Registration Deadlines:
May 1  - Registration Deadline for players entering U11-U18 to ensure placement on the same team as last year
June 1 - Registration Deadline for players entering U7-U10 to ensure placement on the same team as last year
June 1 - Registration closes for all age groups, except for age groups that still have space available

Registration requests received after these deadlines will be processed on a first come first serve basis, dependent upon space available.
We will try to accommodate your placement requests, but cannot guarantee it.

New Player Information

From another Club?
We cannot accept registration from any player who is currently registered with another club for the same season.

Registration Deadlines:
We recommend that you register as soon as possible. New players are placed on teams on a first come first serve basis, as space permits.

Financial Assistance

The North Vancouver Football Club recognizes that there are families in the community for whom the registration fees pose a genuine financial hardship.
We want to ensure that the registration fee alone does not prevent young boys from participating in our program.

We ask that full consideration be given to whether assistance is needed. Overuse of this program puts these options at risk for those who really need it.

The following options are available:

Option A: Staggered Payment by Cheque of Full Registration Fee

For all players U06 - U18

  • $80 - Cheque due at time of registration
  • $80 - Payable by post-dated cheque - July 15
  • $75 - Payable by post-dated cheque - Sept 1

TOTAL - $235

Option B: Payment and Application to A4K or Kidsport

We must recieve proof of application to either of these organizations below.  Please send  an email to info@nvfc.ca to let us know when your application was submitted.

  1. A4K (Athletics For Kids) is a North Shore organization that was set up so that "all children, regardless of financial constraints of parents or guardians, should be able to participate in organized amateur sport".

2. KidSport is a national organization which "assists children by overcoming financial barriers which prevent or limit their participation in organized sport." We are lucky to have a local chapter here on the North Shore. Their application form is very simple and does not require detailed financial scrutiny. For more information:
